The African Union at COP21
Mrs Dlamini-Zuma, Chairperson of the African Union Commission, participated in the Leaders Event at COP21, on November 30, 2015, along with 150 Heads of State and Government.
Mrs Zuma was invited by the French President, Mr François Hollande, to the Heads of State luncheon organized on November 30, in the side-lines of COP21.
Mrs Zuma took part in the Summit "the Climate challenge and African solutions" organized by France, which brought together 12 African Heads of State, on the occasion of the Africa Day of COP21, on December 1st..
She also inaugurated the African Pavilion, co-organized by the African Union, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the African Development Bank and the NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency, with the support of France. The African Pavilion is hosting conferences and exhibitions showcasing African solutions to climate disruption.
